Back to work...

Hello world!
Back to Germany and back to work. :-)
Now that everything is like it was before I find the time to write a little bit. I am working quite a lot in the moment and use the weekends to relax! ;-) At the same time I am looking for a flat in cologne. We (Sebastian and I) allmost got one! But this little owner of the flat bit** made a lot of trouble and finally canceled everything! So we have to start again. Grrrrr....

Beside these things nothing spectacular is happening in my life! Some parties and a really sad goodbye! Thank you for the great times we had, Bec! Hope to see you soon!

Btw: We opened up a World Campionship Betting Game (is this how you call it?).
Everyone is invited to participate!
So I will go to bed now! Have to work in Bielefeld for the next two days!
Cheers, Arne

Back in Germany

Hello world! Sorry for not been writing here for such a long time! But i was really busy. Now i am back in Germany and have to go to work tomorrow. That sucks but that is life. The last few weeks in China were amazing. More strange things, more taxi rides and 2 and a half days in Hong Kong. That is an "outstanding" skyline.

So the sightseeing in Hong Kong was not that great because there are not many tourist places. So I just went to the peak, the highest point in HK were you have a great view over the city (if the weather is good).

Before I left I also went to see the big buddha. It is about 35 meters tall. But you have to climb all the stairs to get up there. :-(

I will summarize my Chinese experience as soon as I find the time to do so. So keep coming back here.

CU soon...

Arne

P.S.: Frog tastes like Chicken!

Long time no blog!

Hey everyone! I just thought that it is time to let the rest of the world know how everything is going. So here we go. So the weekend before last I got Christoph visiting me. That was a cool and very strenuous WE. We went out on Friday. A little Shanghai-Bars Tour. On Saturday we first went to the clothes market and from there to old shanghai and Yu Garden. After we had a look at the temple and some fishes we finally went to the fake market! Christoph bought the market or at least half of it. ;-) Then we got a great foot massage! Ahhhh!!! For dinner we went out to a Chinese Restaurant with one of Christophs colleagues. HOT! Too HOT! That wasn’t chicken with chillies! The entire plate was red. If you were lucky you found a piece of chicken in all the chillies!! In the night we had a big party at mint club! HOUSEPITAL! Nurses everywhere (see pictures)! Sunday: Easy! Another temple, another shopping mall and the fake market again! Japanese restaurant! All you can eat! Last drink at Zapatas! One thing I learned during the week: I Chinese pretend to understand English and only say “Yes, yes!”, they didn’t get one word of what you are saying! Great! Most Chinese I met who could speak English were the seller from the fake market! “CDDVDBAGWATCH” or “WANNABUYWATCH?”. And I never had as many friends as i have on the fake market. “Hey my friend. Special price for you. Looka looka!” During the week I didn’t go out because I was ill! I think that was the tribute to all the Chinese viruses and germs my body did not know before! ;-) But Saturday I was fine again. Have a guess were I went? Yes! Fake market! Just bought some cufflinks and a belt! From there to some other place in Shanghai! But nothing special there. Coffee at Starbucks. Home. Bach into town by taxi! Chinese cuisine! And while I was eating a girl at the table next to us started cutting her nails! Ihhhhh! Good that I was almost finished! Nightlife: The Gold Party at Kathleen 5! Cool party with a lot non Chinese people. Got home at 4am! Sunday: Awesome weather! Went to the zoo! Don’t go there! Baahhh! It is really dirty and …. The only reason I really went there is because of the pandas! Big disappointment! Just one and this one was just eating all the time! Pictures! Thats it! I know nothing special but I was lying in my bed the hole week! So next time I will have more to tell! Cheers Arne
